Ashton Kutcher Goes 'Blah' With Latest Venture—A Gossip Site

Apparently, there aren't enough gossip sites—Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, partners at Katalyst Media, today debuted the animated show and site Blah Girls at TechCrunch50 in San Francisco. The site features three teenage girls a la South Park-meets-Powerpuff Girls and their two to three-minute show and blog about the latest in celebrity news. The first episode, "Adoption," shows the girls riffing on celebrities adopting children, using "Superbad" puns on the possibility of actor Seth Rogen adopting them, and features shameless product integration, that if 50 Cent were to adopt one of the girls, she'd "drink Vitamin Water Formula 50 and be cool like 50." NewTeeVee reports new episodes will appear twice per week and features a video interview with Kutcher and Goldberg, embedded below.

Of course, Kutcher has long ago made his foray into the digital space—not all with success—having invested in political ads site SaysMe.tv and closing $10 million of funding for Katalyst earlier this year. Over two years ago, Katalyst inked a deal with AOL to deliver at least five programs consisting of 20 mini-episodes.
