Broadband Content Bits: CNNMoney; BuddyTV's Reality TV Leagues; Crackle

imageCNNMoney adds eight new shows: Time Warner's business news site CNNMoney.com has grown into the most popular source of business-news video on the web, trumping Yahoo Finance and CNBC.com in terms of the number of clips viewed per month, per Nielsen. The site is beefing up its roster of original series to help maintain that lead, according to the WSJ, which reports that CNNMoney has unveiled eight new shows. The new series include Help Desk, which answers viewers personal finance questions, New Money, focusing on young entrepreneurs, and Conscious Capitalism, a show about corporate philanthropy.

BuddyTV's "fantasy TV" leagues: BuddyTV has launched reality TV-based fantasy leagues. Similar to fantasy sports leagues, the TV leagues let fans of shows like America's Next Top Model and Survivor build teams of reality TV stars and compete over which personalities they think will be eliminated each week. Members of the TV-centric online community can compete in public or set up private matches with friends or coworkers (via NewTeeVee).

Crackle.com's new sketch-comedy series: The latest addition to Crackle.com's lineup is Charlie Murphy's Crash Comedy, a comedy series starring Chappelle's Show alum Charlie Murphy. The show, which consists of sketches, parodies and infomercials, premieres March 20; Murphy also serves as one of the show's executive producers (via THR).
